1944 "KÉPESKÖNYV A SAKKTÁBLÁMRÓL", by Dr. Páros
LIMITED, NUMBERED, AND AUTOGRAPHED EDITION OF 300 COPIES
VERY RARE AND VERY SCARCE EDITION IN THIS BINDING
Dr. Páros, György: "Képeskönyv a sakktáblámról". Copy No. 17, of a limited, numbered, and autographed edition of 300 copies.
Budapest, self-published, 1944. Beautiful original hardback linen oblong edition, with gold-embossed print on cover. 72 pages. 17,5 x 24,5 cm. In Hungarian, with the text of a letter (in the Introduction, page 7) from Alain C. White in English, and a part of the problem 101 (pages 69-70) and a small chapter (BILDERBUCH VON MEINEM SCHACHBRETTE, pages 71-72) in German, at the end of the book, including a small dictionary with the most important chess problems concepts translated to German. Includes a card with a problem of Paros, and the solution on the back, "with all good wishes for 1948", so I guess that should not be part of the book.
Excellent: Some defects. To know the approximate condition, please see the photos. All the major defects are photographed.

With respect to the edition, I am not sure if existed unnumbered copies, although I have seen on the Internet a copy apparently unnumbered. However, I am sure that the numbered edition of 300 copies, only had a small part in hardcover (approximately between 40 and 100), and the rest in softcover. Copies in hard cover I have only seen with numbers below 40, and copies of soft cover I've only seen with numbers above 100.
