Very good or better / dust jacket not issued: minor general wear, no flaws. Pages are clean with no writings.
57 Smyslov's endgame studies from 1936-2001. All are diagrammed with annotated solutions.
First edition was published in 2000 and contained 48 Smyslov's endgame studies. A new (Second) edition was in 2001 and contained 52 endgame studies (I am listing the 2nd edition in another auction).
This edition is marked in the Impressum (see picture 4) as „Dop. tir. 100 ekz“ (=Dopolnitelnyy tirazh, Additional printing, 100 copies). However, it is not a reprint of the previous edition. In fact, it is a new, Third edition (but number of the edition is not stated in the book), which includes another 5 studies from 2001 and contains 57 studies in all.
