Being the best games played by the distinguished champion in Europe and America, with analytical and critical notes. With 1 portrait and many diagrams. Descriptive notation.VII, 485 pages, 1 leaf with index. Paul Morphy (1837 - 1884) was considered one of the greatest chess masters of all time. Important collection of 206 games with annotations. L/N 3155. Betts 29 - 82. van der Linde II, 80. London, Bohn, 1860.  

Condition: Privately bound with marbled boards. Much wear to spine, which is re-inforced with tape. Some pencilled notes on index. Foxing on endpaper and a few pages. Paper yellowed. Inside very Good.
