The book contains 260 games that were played between 1893-1920. All of them are well annotated by Alexander Alekhine.
About half of the games are played by Alekhine himself, the rest is played by other players.
Such a collections of games with Aljechin's annotations is published for the first time. More than 100 games of this collection have not been published before in a book form - they were published only in magazines or chess columns. For example, from the chess column of Novoe Vremya there are about 80 games.
