1968 "MY SELECTED CHESS PROBLEMS"
By I. Neumann
Neumann, I.: "My selected Chess Problems". Edited by the composer. Printed in Israel "Omanut" Printing Press.
Herzlia, self-published, 1968. Original stapled softback edition. 48 pages (including Title pages, and first 5 and last 3 unnumbered), and a portrait of the Author on the page 4. 21,4 x 13,5 cm. In Hebrew and English, with odd problems in Hebrew and even problems in English.
Very good to excellent: Only noteworthy is a slight discoloration on the spine and on the top edge of the covers. Inside without writing and practically like new.
First "autobiographical" booklet by a chess composer published in Hebrew (this reference is mentioned by the Author in the Introduction), with 60 direct mates, mostly in two moves, with commentary, alternately in Hebrew and English. Naturally, being a book mostly in Hebrew, page 1 is the last, and you have to read it from back to front.
