A. Galitsky (or Galitski, Galitzki, 1863-1921), according to the authors the greatest Russian problemist.
The work on Galitsky consists of 3 volumes:
- The First volume contains his biography and 1,106 problems and endgame studies.
- The Second volume (which we are listing in another auction) contains Galitsky’s articles etc.
- The third volume then contains addendums and later discovered problems.
This auction is only for volume 1.
