Good+: Covers yellowed by age around edges, light general wear. Light crease to the bottom of some pages (nothing important). Text is clean, with occasional erasable pencil marks.

This booklet is a bibliography of Czech and Slovak chess books published before 1947. Material is divided into 3 sections: A - Magazines, B - Books and Booklets, C - Varia.

In sections A+B are listed 140 items (magazines No.1-17, books No.18-140). About 50 other (unnumbered items) are listed in section C - Varia (manuscripts, chess columns etc.).

This bibliography is the final, 17th volume of the Soukup's bibliophile series „Sachove umeni“ - called sometimes „Czech Christmas Series“. The series „Sachove umeni“ is devoted mostly to the problem chess and 13 books of this series are limited editions (with only 50-200 published copies each). This last volume of the series is not a limited edition but it is sure that it is published in low edition as well.
