in the Brno Pedagogic Library (SPK)
the largest chess collection in Czech public libraries

Close to Very good: covers slightly stained. Pages browned by age as usual, text is clean with no writings.
The catalog of the largest Czech public library on chess. I estimate that about 2,000 entries are listed, ordered in sections by themes (opening, middlegame, tournaments, etc.).
Author was strong Brno player, a grandfather of tennis player Ivan Lendl.
Among private libraries, which were included in the Brno Pedagogic Library, are:
- library of chess composer Frantisek Dedrle
- library of strong chess player and writer Jan Barta
- library of Rudolf Prochazka, chairman of the Brno county of the UJCS
