Pulfinale sachoveho preboru CSR v Chomutove. Kulturni dům zav. klubu VTGK 4.-20. cervence 1954 (cover title).
(Chomutov), published by organizers of the tournament, (1954). Orig. hardcover. (4) 8, (4) pages + crosstable. Size 22.5 cm. In Czech. The weight 160 grams.
Very good or better: minor general signs of use. The crosstable is neatly fulfilled in pen.
This book(let) was published by organizers of the tournament as a souvenir for the participants, what can be deduced from the handwritten sentence before the signatures of the players. It means in English:
To the participants / of the semi-final of chess championship dedicated / by organizers.
It contains a 7-page article about general history of town Chomutov, the crosstable and signatures of all participants.
The crosstable is for a little larger than the other sheets – it is visible on picture 4. It is a question, whether the crosstable has been published together with this memorial book or inserted later.
The book is signed on the second blank sheet by all participants of the tournament. The signatures are in 3 columns:
First column:
Juraj Hukel (1919), Slovak champion 1943
Vaclav Grguric (1897-1984), Master of the UJCS 1925
?? (not a player)

Jiri Vesely (1932-2009), Czech master, noted chess writer, journalist

Ladislav Alster (1927-1991), Czechoslovak champion 1956, chess author
Second column:
Milan Bartosek (1913-1996, Master of the UJCS since 1931)
Julius Kozma (1929-2009), the best Slovak players for years.
Burda

Miroslav Betak (Prague player)
Seifert

As far as I know, it's the first time when one of these signed books appears in the market.
This copy comes from the estate of one of the participants – I will write his name to the winner of the auction.
