In German. The first international tournament in the Netherlands. 1) Amos Burn 7/8 (+6 =2 -0); 2) Emanuel Lasker 6; 3) James Mason 5½; 4) Louis van Vliet 5; 5) Isidor Gunsberg 4; 6) Johann Hermann Bauer 3½; 7) Rudolf Johannes Loman 3; 8) Arnold E. van Foreest 2; 9) R. K. Leather 0.

The famous game between Lasker and Bauer in the first round (game no. 4 in the book) with double Bishop sacrifices was played in this tournament.

All 35 games (Leather forfeited last game) from the master group and 12 games from the minor group with annotations and diagrams.

Utrecht, Beijers, 1891. 14 x 20 cm. 101 pp paperback.  L/N 5228. Condition: minor tears, cover in plastic, pencil marks on back cover. Content very good. Scarce tournament book.
