Biographical data:
Jan Sefc, 1924-2014, Slovak Master, Czechoslovak champion 1955, noted trainer (Ftacnik, Stohl).
Jiri Podgorny, 1912-1987, Czech master, editor of the Ceskoslovensky sach.
Maxmilian (Max) Ujtelky, 1915-1979, Slovak IM, Czechoslovak co-champion in 1960, he was by the way a direct descendant of Hungarian composer Ferenc (Franz) Liszt.
Cenek Kottnauer, 1910 Prague – 1996 London, Czech British master, he emigrated to the UK in 1953.
