Novi Sad, Organizing Committee of the 29th Chess Olympiad, 1990. Original softback edition. 1020 pages (independent pagination of each bulletin, and covers including in pagination). 29,9 x 21,3 cm. Bilingual edition in Serbo-Croatian (Roman) and English.

Complete set (introduction + round-by-round) of loose bulletins for the 1990 Chess Olympiad, held in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia (now in Serbia). Beginning issue lacks numbering; second issue starts numbering with 1. Each is A4 sized, staple-bound, magazine format, 68pp (except introductory number with 36pp, and numbers 11 and 14, with 84pp), b/w photos.

 

Good to very good: Some light wear along spine, one issue has a 1cm tear and one issue has light corner wear. A very good set.

 

COMPLET SET WITH BULLETIN 0 / PROGRAM!!! Most of the times, this set appears for sale without the Bulletin 0 / Program!!!

 

Each bulletin contains results and all the games without notes plus a few articles which usually includes one annotated game from an earlier round. All games in figurine notations. Results, tables and articles.

 

The men's event was won by the Soviet Union led by Ivanchuk and Gelfand, ahead of USA and England. The women's was won by Hungary with the three Polgar sisters.
