Shakhmatnoe Obozrenie Vol. 1903, from the library of Georg Marco (1863-1923). See his embossed name on the front cover. He has had some of his books bound in the style of the Wiener Schachzeitung. Gilt title on front and spine. Edges marbled. The magazine was published from 1892-1910. The editor for the year 1903 was P. P. Bobrov. The publisher was Tip.I.N. Kushnereva i Ko. Moskva. Language Russian. 8°, XXX pages index, advertisement, 460 pages (issue 55-66). Between the pages 204-205 the index (XXVIII pages) from the year 1902 (issue 43-54) is bound in. Previous owner was Harald Brainin (Viennese lyricist and journalist). A rare magazine and the fact that the book was owned by Georg Marco makes the book unique. L/N 6315, Di Felice 2401
Condition : Binding with some wear and slight soil, corners slightly bumped. Paper browned. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Very Good!
