Anderssens Schachpartieen aus den Jahren 1864 und 1865 :
Neumann, G.R. (ed.) A [dolph] Anderssens chess games from the years 1864 and 1865. Analyzed and edited Berlin, Springer, 1866. 8 °. With many diagrams. VIII, 127 pages. Linde - N. 3164, van der Linde II, 82. Gustav Richard Ludwig Neumann calls these 86 games "the greatest adorment" of the years 1864 to 1865 of the new Berlin chess newspaper. On the first endpaper a bigger exlibris and a remark that this book was gifted by Hugo Oppenheim in 1891. Stamp of the `Neuer Wiener Schachklub` on title page.
Condition : Needs to be rebound as only the bookblock with the endpapers is present! Preserved in acidfree cardmap. Paper of the first pages very brittle with some splitoffs at the edges and corners. First pages show some stronger foxing which declines after a few pages. Some dogears but otherwise inside clean. Please take a look at the attached pictures which are part of the description. Overall Assessment = Average!
