1414 Fins de Partie, by Henri Rinck, Barcelona 1950.
LN 2214, 768 pages. Sturdy maroon cloth binding, very good throughout.
This is the fifth and final edition of Rinck's Fins de Partie first published as 150 Fins de Partie in 1909 with a second edition in 1913. 300 Fins de Partie was published in 1919 and then came 700 Fins de Partie in 1927.
This final edition, although dated 1950 was actually published in 1952 according to The Oxford Companion to Chess. Each book includes the whole of its predecessor.
From the library of Hugh Blandford, composer and editor of the Studies column in The British Chess Magazine from 1951 to 1972.
A massive book which will be heavy to post.
