Hardback, 458 pages, covers variably blue and green as usual, as new condition.
A reprint of the scarce Chess Reader magazines published by Whyld from 1955 to 1963 and by The Chess Player (Tony Gillam) up to 1966. This is a magazine for chess bibliophiles and these volumes include over 500 book reviews and many articles on chess bibliography.
Foreword by Michael Negele and an Appreciation of Whyld by Tony Gillam.
Many of Ken Whyld's Lists of books for sale are also included.
