Praha, chess club Dobrusky, 1925. Orig. softcover. 84 pages. In Czech. Size 23 cm. The weight 140 grams. Published 150 copies. LN 2253. Soukup 29. Mokry 54.
Fair: spine is torn on several places, missing ca 2 cm at the top and bottom. Front cover is a little stained and slightly worn at the top. Text is clean with no writings.
Author's inscription in pen to Frantisek Havlicek on title and small stamp with date 21. XI. 1925. Frantisek Havlicek, 1864-1945, was Brno chess player, editor of chess column in a monthly paper Prazdniny 1907-1910 and in Niva 1910-1916.
The book contains 150 studies of various composers + author's article on Pawn endgames. First Czech book on endgame study.
