Good to very good / dust jacket not issued: covers a little soiled, otherwise OK, no flaws, internally clean and with no writings.
150 endgame studies – miniatures (= with max. 7 pieces) of Ladislav Prokes, all diagrammed, with date and place of first publication and annotated solutions.
The book was published in 2 variations - paperback and hardcover. This is a hardcover one.
Czech master Ladislav Prokes, 1884-1966, was strong chess player (Czechoslovak co-champion in 1921, took part in several chess olympiads) and also noted study composer (author of some 1,200 studies, many of them awarded in competitions). He was also editor of several chess columns between 1920 and 1965.
