New York, Committee of the Sixth American Chess Congress, 1891. Original red linen ribbon with checkerboard illustration on front and back cover. 2 unnumbered sheets (including Title page) + XXXVIII + 1 blank sheet + 490 pages. 27,3 x 19,5 cm. In English.
Good: Repair of the binding on its edges and spine, keeping the original covers (with some discolorations, probably due to water), but not the spine. Top edge of the pages in gold leaf. Some notation on the inside of the front cover. Normal tears and breaks for this type of paper in some pages. The only important one, without loss of text, is between pages 143-146, well repaired. Light annotations or underlines in very few pages. Some light stains (more visible in pages 143-146) and wrinkles. DESPITE ALL, AN AWESOME BOOK.
