Jan Dobrusky (August 28, 1853, Skutech-may 31, 1907, Prague) was a chess composer, one of the founders of the Czech school in the problem. Lawyer. Since 1871 he has published about 250 problems; he has achieved the best creative achievements in the field of four-moves. He created a new style in the chess problem and revealed its features in comparison with the English and German schools in the problem.
