Condition: the book is Fine, like new. The dust jacket is Very good+: it has minor wear at the top near spine.
The book consists from 3 parts as shown on picture 2:
I. Translating a White Bishop is devoted to the chess life in Ireland in 1890s;
II. A Secret Chess Duel is a contribution to the well-known Saavedra’s endgame study Kb6, Pc7 - Ka1, Rd5.
III. The Road Back to H. Otten, New York describes in detail the origin and history of the famous H. Otten study - White: Ke4, Pa4, g4, Black: Kf6, Bg7, White wins.
