Original paper covered boards worn and most of backstrip is missing - see images, but tightly bound and good inside.
449 pages, LN 494.
This book includes the 1790 edition of Philidor's Analysis of Chess with 2,352 chess-board diagrams showing every move, and Philidor's notes at the end. Also includes Philidor's Preface from the 1750 English edition of his work, and a concise introduction to the game.
