Good to very good: Binding with light dirt and friction, and slightly worn, especially at the edges, corners and spine (which has the title somewhat faded). Inside some light browning, but in very good condition, with only a very slight cracking between pages 34-35, at the top, and one annotation with pencil, easily erasable, on page 45.

Contains a general introduction to the elements of problem composition, a chapter on solving and 108 problems by various composers: 40 three-movers, 40 two-movers, 12 four-movers and 16 self-mates.
It is a frequent book, because it has many editions. Although the first one is not easy to find. The last time it was auctioned at Klittich-Pfankuch Auction (66. Auktion, June 2014), its sale price was, for a copy in a state worse than the one I offer, of a TOTAL PRICE € 67,68 (Total Hammerprice 55,00 EUR + Buyers Premium 15% 8,25 EUR + 7% VAT 4,43 EUR).
