Very good: light general wear, no flaws, internally clean and with no writtings. From the library of chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan - his stamp on the last page.

From the Impressum page: „These five original problems by Dr. Zdenek Mach are published for private circulation and sent to his friends as a Christmas Greeting 1933. Drawing on the cover by Jan Konupek. Printed in Veneziana types by Orbis, Publishing Comp., Prague A.D. MCMXXXIII in 555 copies not intented for sale“.

This copy is signed by Dr. Zdenek Mach (1877-1954), Czech problemist, one of the leading representatives of the Bohemian chess school, long-year editor of several chess columns and by Jan Konupek (1883-1950), who was one of the best Czech painters and engravers.
