Original cloth-backed boards, covers a bit worn, paper yellowed as usual. 315pp. 190 games. 1-2 Smyslov, Bronstein 3-4 Geller, Taimanov. LN 5775.
SIGNED BY DAVID BRONSTEIN on the front endpaper. Bronstein won the USSR Championship twice, in 1948 and 1949, both times as joint champion. He tied 12-12 with Botvinnik in the 1951 World Championship match, with Botvinnik retaining his title.
