Original coloured pictorial boards, black cloth spine (repaired with tape on spine) otherwise good. 147pp., coloured folding plate of tournament statistics, 8 fine photos of the players. 56 games. LN 5574. 1-2 Fine, Keres 3.Botvinnik. One of the strongest tournaments of all time, intended to find a challenger to Alekhine.
The photos of the players each have a printed signature. The photo of Keres also has his hand-written signature (the lower one in the photos). Keres signed his name in several ways over the years. A similar example of the present signature can be seen on the ChessAutographs.com website.
