"Cabbage Heads and Chess Kings" by Bruce Hayden. Published in hardback by Arco Publications in 1960. First Edition. 223pp. The book is in Very Good condition and the internal pages are remarkably clean and unmarked. Its dustjacket (which is quite scarce in my experience) is in Good+ condition, with no loss but some areas of scuffing to note. The jacket is protected by a removable see-through sleeve. There is no foxing to the page edge block but there are a couple of small smudge marks and some light age related discoloration that is entirely consistent with the age of the volume.
