"51 Brilliant Chess Masterpieces" by Fred Reinfeld. Published in hardback by Capitol Publishing Co. No date but Betts (29-32) gives the date as 1950, this volume being a reprint of the original 1936 edition published by Black Knight Press. 106 large pages. The book is in Very Good overall condition for its age. The book is tightly bound and has only minor foxing to the page edge block. There is a previous owner's name on the inside of the front board plus minor residue attached to the front and rear inside boards. The dustjacket is in Good minus condition. It has a small area of loss to the top of the spine (see scan) plus closed tears and creasing plus a little damage to the inside of the rear flap. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 335g.
