Ten of the twelve monthly magazines of "The British Chess Magazine, 1925". Published in hardback by Whitehead & Miller in 1925 (Part of Volume 45). First Edition. 446pp. The volume (which has the September and October issues missing) is in Good minus condition and approximately commensurate with its age. With index. There are minor faults to note such as very light pencilled annotations and small smudges but all the pages are in Good, readable condition. The folding cartoon at page 216 (entitled "The Chess Divan in The Strand") is torn, vertically, but is still complete. The page edge block is browned from age and handling. The boards are chaffed and cracked along the spine area. I would say this volume is a good reading copy. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 620g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £4.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
