"The British Chess Magazine, 1942". Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman in 1942. First Edition. 288pp. The volume is in Good overall condition. With index. Internally the volume appears to be without any handwritten annotations. There is a previous owner's name neatly written on the front endpaper. The internal pages are browned from the poor quality paper that was available during WW2. The first and last couple of pages have a mottled speckling stain to them. The blue binding is private and has white speckled staining on it (see scan). The page edge block is very browned, again from the poor quality paper used. The binding is tight. The gilt lettering has faded with age. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 325g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
