"The British Chess Magazine, 1956". Published in hardback by the BCM in 1956. First Edition. 346pp. The volume is in Very Good condition. With index. Internally the volume appears to be without any handwritten annotations and is inscription free (although there is a previous owner's book plate on the inside of the front board). The internal pages are very clean although slightly tanned, from age. The page edge block is clean and has light tanning, again from age only. The binding is tight. The gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. The spine area has faded a little. The volume is protected by a removable sleeve. There is a mild shelf lean to the volume. The magazine covers have been bound in, which is quite rare in my experience with a volume of this era. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 565g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £4.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
