"The Sunday Chronicle Chess Tournament, London 1946". Published in hardback by CHESS, Sutton Coldfield in 1946 (Betts 25-168). First Edition. 106pp. The book is in Good+ condition. A few internal pages have small areas of light damage where the pages appear to have been stuck together and then cut apart. Possibly this was at the printing stage. Two internal pages have very short closed tears. Cartoons by Poyser. Sketches of the players. The dustjacket is in Very Good condition. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. There is no foxing to the page edge block and the internal pages are all clean and unmarked. Inscription free.
