Two hardback volumes: "Capablanca's 100 Best Games of Chess" by Harry Golombek and "My Best Games of Chess, 1924-1937" by Alexander Alekhine. The Capablanca volume is a first edition, 1947 publication while the Alekhine volume is a fourth edition, 1947 publication. 277pp and 288pp respectively. Both volumes and their dustjackets are in Fair condition and are reading copies only. Both have heavy foxing and discolouration to the page edge blocks and other areas of staining. However, internally both volumes are in Good readable condition and appear to be inscription free. The binding on both volumes is still strong and the books have only a mild shelf lean. Both dustjackets are now protected by removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
