"CHESS, Volume 20" edited by B.H.Wood. Published in hardback by CHESS, Sutton Coldfield in 1955. First Edition. 466pp. Plus index. Magazine numbers 229-252 (Sept 1954 - Sept 1955). The volume is in Good condition. The binding is the regular publishers brown colour. The gilt lettering on the spine is faded but still just visible (see scan). The page edge block has strong age browning but no foxing. All the magazines are in Good condition and are inscription free. There is the very occasional blemish, commensurate with age, but basically all the magazines are in good, readable condition. Games are in English descriptive notation.
