"The Art of Sacrifice in Chess" by Rudolf Spielmann. Published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1935. First UK Edition. 216pp. The book is in Good+ condition for its age. The binding is tight and the book stands straight. The internal pages have tanned a little from age but are all inscription free. The page edge block and indeed the whole book is free of foxing. The edge block does however have browning, again from age only. The dustjacket is also in Good+ condition. It is complete but has discoloured slightly along the spien area (see scan). The dustjacket is now protected by a superior 'Gaylord' removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive/algebraic notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
