Fischer, Jan: 29 sheets with caricatures of chess players from 1950s.
Ink drawings, size usually 29 x 20.5 cm (A4), some may be slightly shorter. The weight 330 grams.
Average Good plus: some sheets are a little stained, some are somewhat worn at margins, all is visible in the pictures.
The caricatures were painted in 1950s. The author is well known Czech illustrator Jan Fischer. The caricatures are not signed by the artist but there is no doubt that Jan Fischer is the author: for example in the magazine Ceskoslovensky sach 1956 page 137 is a picture with caricatures to the tournament in Marianske Lazne 1956, author of which is Jan Fischer.
A printed card of this picture is included in this offer (picture 8). Please take a look on caricatures of Ladislav Alster and Ludek Pachman in this card – they are identical with original drawings.
