Size 23.5 x 15.5 cm. In Czech. The weight 10 grams.
Good to very good: light general signs of use, traces after horizontal centre fold.
Scoresheet from the Prague championship 1947. Written in Pithart's hand, signed by both masters.
I believe that this is an original scoresheet written in old pencil. However, I cannot exclude that it is a carbon copy – I am not sure.
Biographical data:
Frantisek Pithart (1915-2003), Czech master (since 1951) and noted trainer. One of the best Czech players after wws. He participated many times in the finals of Czechoslovak championships. He took part in the chess olympiad Helsinki 1952 and in European team chamionship 1957. Author of many books and articles.
Josef Dobias (1886-1981), Czech master (since 1911), in 1920s one of editors of the main Czech magazine Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu.
