Two volumes of instructional chess opening books: "The Ideas Behind the Chess Openings" by Reuben Fine (published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1964) and "A Pocket Guide to the Chess Openings" by Griffith and Golombek (published in hardback by Bell and Sons in 1949 as a New & Revised Edition). Both books are in Good condition and are inscription free. 240pp + 105pp. The book's dustjackets are both in Good condition also with the Pocket Guide having tiny areas of loss to extremeties. Both dustjackets are now protected by removable see-through sleeves. Games and positions are in English descriptive notation. Further scans are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 475g.
