London, Printing - Craft, 1932. With 6 picture plates and many diagrams. Descriptive notation. 114 pages, 1 leaf. Original red cloth with gold embossed title printed on front cover. Paul Morphy (1837 - 1884) was considered one of the greatest chess masters. This edition contains a short biography, selected games and excerpts from his correspondence. Rare edition. L/N 3098; Betts 29 - 95.
Condition: Slightly browned and stained inside. Binding faded.
