DESCRIPTION

"ŠACHOVÉ NOVINY" 1931

CZECH FORTNIGHTLY IN PRAGUE

COMPLETE RUN, ALL PUBLISHED!!

Edited by F. J. PROKOP

Prokop, F. J. (Ed.): "ŠACHOVÉ NOVINY" 1931. ROČNÍK I. All published.

Praha, self-edition of F. J. Prokop, 1931. Contemporary marbled halfcloth with no lettering. 96 pages (12 issues) = all published. 31,4 x 24 cm. In Czech, but occasionally appear articles in English, German, French or Russian.

Good: Binding something brushed on the edges, with a couple of hits on the top of the outer side of the covers. Bumped corners, and slight "scratches" on the back cover, a couple of them at the bottom quite visible, one of which crosses horizontally the entire width of the cover. As usual, most pages have light/some traces after horizontal centre fold - this is a way how the magazine was posted to the subscribers. On pages 2 and 11, a very small part of the text is hidden by the material used for the binding: affected text supplied in physical (paper) and / or digital (photo) format. Small break without loss of paper, on the outer edge of pages 9-10. Very slight cracking between pages 14-15, and also between pages 78-79. Pages are occasionally a very little soiled (nothing serious), with no writings.
