"The British Chess Magazine, 1940". Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1940. First Edition. 416pp. The volume is in Very Good+ overall condition and has clearly been well cared for over the years. Includes index. The half-leather binding is tight and the volume stands upright with no shelf lean. The page edge block is a very clean-looking speckled red colour. The only depredation with the volume is a few light scuff marks on the leather spine area. The green cloth binding is very clean. Internally the pages are very clean, unmarked and inscription free. Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 500g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £4.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
