"The British Chess Magazine, 1947". Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1947. First Edition. 412pp. The volume is in Very Good+ overall condition and has clearly been well cared for over the years. Includes index. The half-leather binding is tight and the volume stands upright with no shelf lean. The page edge block is a very clean-looking speckled red colour. The only depredation with the volume is a few light scuff marks on the leather spine area. The green cloth binding is very clean. Internally the pages are very clean, unmarked and inscription free (although the pages are slightly browned from the lack of good quality paper available to the magazine due to WW2). Published without a dustjacket. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 480g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £4.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
