"The Anglo-Soviet Chess Match" by E.Klein and W.Winter. Published in hardback by Isaac Pitman and Sons in 1947. First Edition. 119pp. The book is in Very Good condition. The internal pages are all very clean and unmarked but a little faded, from age only. The binding is tight. The boards are very clean. The page edge block is tanned, from age only. The publishers managed to acquire some semi-glossy paper for this volume and this has largely offset the page "browning" effect seen in so many chess books from the WW2 era. The dustjacket is in Good condition. It has tiny areas of loss to the head and foot of the spine plus quite strong scuffing to note (see scan) but it is complete and has protected the volume well over the years. Games are in English descriptive notation. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 190g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £2.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
