DESCRIPTION

"The London International Chess Congress, 1922" by Maroczy and Watts. Published in hardback by Printing Craft in 1923. First Edition. 136pp. The book is in Good minus overall condition. The internal pages are largely clean and unmarked apart some mild age related discolouration to the first and last few pages. There is a prevous owner's name on the inside of the front board plus an earlier gift dedication on the front endpaper. The (rough cut) page edge block has tanned with age and there is tear damage to a few of the pages towards the rear of the book but these do not include any of the games pages. Glossy photos of participants. The book boards are quite clean (see scan). The dustjacket is a FACSIMILE of the original and only in Fair plus condition as there is a small area of loss at the head of the spine and general discolouration/fading. Games are in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 285g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.00. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
