"CHESS, Volume 23" edited by B.H.Wood. Published in hardback by CHESS, Sutton Coldfield in 1958. First Edition. 370pp. Plus index. Magazine numbers 301-324 (Oct 1957 - Sept 1958). The volume is in Good overall condition. The boards are lightly stained (see scans) and the spine area has mildly faded. The page binding feels a little shaky. The page edge block is lightly tanned from age, handling and the different quality paper used in publication. The internal pages are all clean and inscription free (apart from a single page, which has two short entries, one is the name ANNE SUNNUCKS so possibly this volume once belonged to that England International player).
