"CHESS, Volume 26" edited by B.H.Wood. Published in hardback by CHESS, Sutton Coldfield in 1961. First Edition. 416pp. No index. Magazine numbers 371-394 (Oct 1960 - Sept 1961). The volume is in Good overall condition. The front board is clean but the rear board has scratch marks and light accompanying indentations (see scan). The spine area has strongly faded. The page binding feels a little shaky. The page edge block is tanned from age and handling. Magazine covers bound in. The internal pages are all clean and inscription free (apart from a tick mark in pen on the front of each magazine cover). Games and positions are in English descriptive notation.
