Two volumes of thematic chess opening books: "King Pawn Openings" by Marovic & Susic (published in hardback by Batsford in 1975) and "King's Gambit" by Thimann (published in softback by Chess Player in 1974). Both books are in Fair plus condition. Both are reading copies only. The Marovic has been well read but it still perfectly useable. The binding is sound and the dustjacket is complete. The Thimann suffers from a strange discolouration to the page edge block (see scan) but is, again, perfectly useable and appears to be inscription free. 255pp + 226pp. Games are in English descriptive notation.
