"Fifty Great Games of Modern Chess" by Harry Golombek. Published in hardack by Bell and Sons in 1942. First Edition. 88pp. The booklet is in Very Good minus condition. The binding is tight and the internal pages are all clean, unmarked and inscription free. The pages have tanned a little from age and the poorer quality of paper available during WW2. No foxing present. The dustjacket is in Good plus condition with scuffing and creasing to note. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are in English descriptive notation.
