"Bobby Fischer Goes To War" by Edmonds and Eidinow. Published in softback by Faber and Faber in 2003. Uncorrected Proof Edition. 293pp. The book is in Very Good condition. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean. The internal pages are all very clean and inscription free. The page edge block is very clean. The book has no foxing. There is a crease at the top of the front cover (see scan). The unusual thing about this book is that it is an "Uncorrected Proof Edition" and therefore probably rarer than later editions. See 4th photograph where the US publisher's name merely reads a question mark! The full story of the 1972 World Chess Championship. No games. Further scanned images are available on request. Approx.unpacked weight: 385g. Postage by Royal Mail within the UK: £3.50. Postage to Europe and elsewhere will be extra. Please ask me for details.
