DESCRIPTION

Siergiej Karjakin Nadzieja Rosji (Siergiej Karjakin   Hope of Russia) - DAMAZY SOBIECKI, 1th edition.

ISBN 978-83-602908-36-3

The book contains 46 commented parties. The book presents the Russian chess piece from the 2009-2016 period.

The doping scandal at the beginning of 2016, the heroine of which was the world's leading tennis player Maria Szerapowa or an affair in Russian athletics, seriously undermined the authority of Russian athletes in the international arena. Two years of suspension for Sharapova and exclusion of Russian athletes from participation in the summer Olympics in Rio de Janerio in 2016 are heavy blows, which will not be easy to pick up. This task is all the more difficult because at the same time the Russians do not have significant sports successes, which would catch the attention of the fans in the world.

In this context, a chess match for the title of the world champion planned for autumn 2016 in New York is of special significance. The defender of the title will be against each other, the Norwegian - Magnus Carlsen and Russian - Sergiy Karjakin. It is obvious that the interest in the match will be big due to its sporting value. Not only because of that. Magnus Carlsen has long since ceased to be just a chess player. He became a respected celebrity of this measure, as Robert Fischer or Garcia Kasparow. He is also able to attract the attention of those chess who are interested in the occasional way.

For fans, and not only chess fans, Sergei Karjakin will be extremely interesting. Certainly the journalists commenting on the match and showing the players' profiles will notice that Karjakin was born in the Crimea in Simferopol and until 19 he represented Ukraine in the international arena. It was not until 2009 that Russia abandoned the country to Russia, receiving its citizenship. When asked about the reasons for this decision, he always felt that he was a Russian. Asked for a commentary on the annexation of Crimea by Russia, he unequivocally supported the policy of Vladimir Putin.
